Mat 24:3-5 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?" And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many."
Our Lord Jesus warned us that in the last days the greatest deceptions will be by so-called highly anointed and respected servants of God. When these highly respected pastors preach heresies, unlearned and worldly Christians will be misled. Brethren, worldly and demonic wisdom has taken over most of the churches today, and many preachings are filled with heresies, distorted truth, lies, deceptions, abominations, etc.
Jude 1:4 For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.
John 3:19-20 "And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed."
In the last days this evil and adulterous generation of Christians will reject sound doctrine for their deeds are evil. So they deceive themselves with lies and distorted truth for they fear the light will expose their wickedness.
2Tim 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and *they will turn their ears away from the truth*, and be turned aside to fables.
What are these demonic and heretic teachings?
1. Deny the Bible as word of God - no salvation.
2. Deny the Trinity - no salvation.
3. Deny the Divinity of Jesus - no salvation.
4. Deny the message of the cross - no salvation.
5. Deny the death of Jesus - no resurrection.
6. Deny the resurrection of Jesus - no salvation
7. Deny the words of Jesus - no salvation
8. Distort His words - will result in deceptions, lies, or even heresies.
Brethren, occults, cults and heretic practices will trepass one or more of the above abominations.
2Pet 3:1-4a Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder), that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming?
In the last days, ungodly and worldly Christians will persecute end time believing Christians, who will receive crowns of righteousness.
2Tim 4:8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
Brethren, all these false christs are making it very difficult for bible believing Christians to keep His words, teachings, etc. We are now living in the last days and the next prophecy is World War 3 (4th Seal)
Mat 24:6 "And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet."
